Testimonial
“For years trumpet players have been buying Bachs and Yamahas off of the shelf and then modifying them with Blackburn leadpipes, cryogenic treatments, valve alignments, and all sorts of other treatments. Now players can skip all of that and buy a Sonaré with the same "modifications" already built into the horn. Brilliant!
The Sonaré has a great core sound that is still flexible enough to change colors for different situations. As a jazz soloist I can really find my own voice, only to turn around and play in a concert band or brass choir and fit right into the section sound, which is typically very Bach oriented.
The valve action on the Sonaré is incredible. The perfectly aligned valves coupled with nice stiff springs makes for a very fast, clean action. Plus, unlike other trumpets I have played, there doesn't seem to be a drawn-out "break-in" period - the valves worked great right out of the case.
Many of my students have commented on how easy it was to play the Sonaré. I noticed more than once a vast improvement in my students' core sound on the Sonaré as compared to their Bachs, Yamahas, etc. I would recommend the Sonaré to any student looking to buy a new trumpet that will fill their needs in band, jazz ensemble, orchestra, or any other situation they might find themselves in during school and into their professional careers. This is a great horn!
It has officially replaced my old Bach as my primary B-flat trumpet.”
